Ventura County’s best taco poll results are in.
Jesse’s El Taco De Mexico in Oxnard took first place with 13.47% of the votes. Second place goes to Tacos el Diablo in Camarillo, Oxnard and Ventura with 12.44% of the votes. Third place goes to Taqueria Tepatitlan in Ventura with 11.92% of the votes.
The poll included more than a dozen taco eateries from Port Hueneme to Newbury Park.
In July, The Star’s poll winner was Smiley’s Hot Dogs in Thousand Oaks, as best hot dog.
