One person died and three others were hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision along Air Expressway in Victorville on Saturday afternoon, officials said.
The crash was reported about 5:05 p.m. Aug. 15 at the intersection of Air Expressway and Village Drive.
“A red sedan and gray jeep collided in the intersection,” according to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Gloria Orejel.
A passenger riding in the sedan died at the scene, she said.
Two other occupants of the sedan, as well as the driver of the Jeep, were taken to hospitals for treatment. Their conditions were unclear.
No further details were available as the investigation remained in its early stages.
