The Los Angeles Rams announced on Thursday that they will have seven team captains in 2025, three of whom are captains for the first time. The offense, defense and special teams are all represented, with three players on offense, three on defense and one on special teams.
Matthew Stafford and Rob Havenstein return as captains on offense, with Kyren Williams being selected for the first time in his career. On defense, Kobie Turner and Quentin Lake are captains for the second time, and newcomer Nate Landman is a first-time captain as the starting inside linebacker.
Ethan Evans represents the special teams group as a first-time captain entering his third season in the NFL.
Rams team captains for 2025
Last season, the Rams only had five captains: Stafford, Havenstein, Turner, Lake and Cooper Kupp. No special teams players were voted captains in 2024, so this is a big honor for the young punter Evans.
