The Pussycat Dolls announced the cancellation of the U.S. tour on Monday, May 4, through its social media pages, but said it will honor its West Hollywood Pride concert on June 6 and the European dates of the tour. Refunds for tickets purchased through Ticketmaster — or on AXS for the Nashville concerts — will be issued automatically. Acrisure Arena uses Ticketmaster as its official ticketing partner, meaning any desert locals who bought a ticket to the Palm Desert show through the arena will automatically receive a refund.

Customers who bought tickets from third-party resellers like StubHub, SeatGeek, or VividSeats must contact those resellers directly.

“When we announced the PCD FOREVER Tour, we hoped to bring the show to fans across the world. After taking an honest look at the North American run, we’ve made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to cancel all but one of the North America dates,” The Pussycat Dolls said in the announcement.

The PCD Forever Tour will feature three of its original members: Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, and Ashley Roberts. Its original lineup also featured Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, and Melody Thornton.

The Pussycat Dolls attempted to reunite in 2019

The Pussycat Dolls rose to global fame during the 2000s with the hits “Don’t Cha,” Buttons,” and “When I Grown Up.” The group was founded in Los Angeles as a burlesque dance troupe by choreographer Robin Antin, but its original lineup evolved into a band. Fans were enthralled by the live performances, which blended high-energy choreography, bold stage attire, and sleek production.

In 2019, the band announced a reunion with a tour the following year featuring Scherzinger, Roberts, Bachar, Wyatt, and Sutta. Thornton declined to participate and Roberts told the BBC, “Mel’s got a lot of projects going on in life.”

“She was included in all of this, she’s our sister, the door is always open, but it just wasn’t the right timing for her right now. We wish her well,” said Roberts to the BBC in 2019.

The tour was later postponed due to the pandemic and then canceled.
