Los Angeles Rams star receiver Puka Nacua has built a reputation as one of the league’s most productive receivers since entering the NFL in 2023, and that standing holds up under the lights. According to Pro Football Focus, Nacua is the highest-graded receiver in primetime games since his rookie season, topping a list that includes players like Amon-Ra St. Brown and CeeDee Lamb.
PFF’s rankings included games starting at 6:30 p.m. ET or later from 2023-25, spanning both the regular season and playoffs. Nacua posted a 93.8 receiving grade across that stretch, which was the best among all players, while playing 802 snaps in those windows.
Nacua’s 93.8 PFF receiving grade is the highest in night windows over the last three seasons, which is extra impressive considering he’s faced several high-quality cornerbacks in that stretch. His 168 targets lead all players, while his 3.22 yards per route run are the most among anyone with at least 35 such targets.
Individual performances have carried that reputation. Nacua turned in one of his best statistical nights this past December against Seattle, catching 12 of 16 targets for 225 yards and two touchdowns in a wild overtime loss. He’s also had multiple other primetime outings with at least nine catches, including a 181-yard, 90% catch-rate showing against Detroit in the 2024 playoffs and a 164-yard, two-touchdown-adjacent effort against New Orleans as a rookie.
Across his 14 career games meeting PFF’s primetime criteria, Nacua has caught 108 of 148 targets for 1,497 yards and six touchdowns — a 73% catch rate and 64.9% success rate that reinforce just how consistent he’s been when the stage gets bigger. Nacua’s 74 first downs in primetime trail only St. Brown and Lamb over that span, and his per-route efficiency separates him from the pack of high-target receivers.
The Rams will have plenty of chances to add to that resume in 2026, with seven primetime games on their schedule. If Nacua’s track record is any indication, Los Angeles should expect more of the same from its star receiver whenever the lights come on.
