Matthew Stafford unexpectedly misses Rams practice again Monday

Sean McVay was excited about the way Matthew Stafford’s workout went on Saturday when the Los Angeles Rams quarterback threw 60-plus passes without limitations. McVay anticipated Stafford returning to practice on Monday but things still aren’t going according to plan.

Stafford was dressed in street clothes and is not practicing, which was supposed to be his first day back on the field since minicamp. He won’t be participating as originally planned, once again raising concerns about his condition as the season approaches.

While players were on the field, Stafford reportedly went into an Ammortal chamber at practice.

Here’s how the Ammortal Chamber is described on the company’s website: “The Ammortal Chamber quickly calms your nervous system, shifting you out of fight-or-flight mode so your body can fully absorb the various modalities and stimulate recovery.”

McVay will address reporters after practice and give an update on Stafford’s status, hopefully explaining why he sat out Monday’s session.
