With final roster cuts come plenty of changes for the Los Angeles Rams, including players’ jersey numbers. Now that certain players have been released and landed with other teams, guys still on the roster have more options to choose from when it comes to jersey numbers.
Several players have decided to make a switch ahead of Week 1, including rookies Jarquez Hunter and Josaiah Stewart. We already wrote about Emmanuel Forbes Jr. going from No. 25 to 1 after Derion Kendrick was released, but he’s not the only one changing things up.

Here’s a list of Rams players with new numbers for the start of the season.
Hunter is back in his old college number from Auburn after previously wearing No. 35 all offseason. Green was wearing No. 27 during the summer but it seems he either wanted No. 21 more or granted Hunter’s request by giving up No. 27 to the rookie.
Hampton previously wore No. 31, which wasn’t exactly an outside linebacker number. Stewart was in No. 41 this offseason and Neal wore No. 58 during camp and the preseason.
