During the 2025-26 season, 14-year NBA veteran Draymond Green surpassed the 900 games played threshold, making 68 appearances and averaging 8.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.6 blocks. Green received Defensive Player of the Year Award votes for the 10th time in his career, headlined by the 2016-17 season when he took home the trophy.
During that season, Green averaged 10.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, seven assists, 1.4 blocks and two steals per game, which tied him with Chris Paul and John Wall for the league lead. This summer, Green re-signed on a one-year contract after originally opting out to allow Golden State’s front office the flexibility to pursue LeBron James. While Green will be a free agent again next summer, the former Michigan State forward has expressed a desire to stay with the Warriors for his entire career.
