There was no jackpot winner in California, but check your tickets: There were 162,346 winning tickets, according to the California Lottery, including three lucky tickets worth $809,204 and three more worth $28,771. The three top winning tickets were sold at a Shell station at 6750 Santa Rita Road, Pleasanton; a Chevron station at 11951 W. Olympic Blvd. in Los Angeles; and at La Buena Market, 221 E. Helen Ave., Reedley.
Meanwhile, though there was a single Mega Millions winner for the $800 million jackpot last Tuesday, Californians hoping to strike it rich will get another chance at the next drawing Tuesday, Aug. 4, when $60 million is up for grabs (cash option $25.5 million).
