The San Francisco 49ers have continued their awful string of injury luck from their 2025 campaign, as they’ve had several key players battling different issues to start their 2026 training camp at their SAP Performance Facility.
On Monday, things got worse, as the ESPN’s Nick Wagoner reported that wide receivers Mike Evans and De’Zhaun Stribling aren’t practicing. Evans is reportedly dealing with a quad injury, while Stribling has hamstring tightness.
In addition, rookie running back Kaelon Black also isn’t practicing while dealing with an adductor injury.
Things are starting to get bleak for the 49ers again, as they’re struggling to keep their players healthy in the early days of camp. If this trend continues into the regular season, we may never see what this team could’ve really looked like.
We already won’t know how they could’ve been with everyone on the field, as wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, who was expected to be one of the top guys in the room this year, is out for the season with a PCL injury.
