After this week, Los Angeles Rams assistants can begin interviewing for coaching positions with other teams. And the expectation is that at least a few will get the chance to interview for open positions.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reported on Saturday morning that Rams assistants are expected to be “in demand” for head coaching jobs this offseason, with Chris Shula, Mike LaFleur and Nate Scheelhaase likely to land interviews.
So far, only Shula has received any head coaching interview requests, getting one from the Tennessee Titans.
Rams assistants have always been in high demand since Sean McVay took over in 2017, with coaches such as Zac Taylor, Matt LaFleur and Raheem Morris going on to land head coaching jobs.
Could Shula, LaFleur or Scheelhaase be the next to depart L.A.?
