The Port Huron Elks Lodge 343, Clawson/Troy Elks Lodge 2169 and Elks National Veterans Service Commission monthly $25.00, (2) free gas gift cards “give-a-way” program drawing took place on July 27^th.  This month’s winning tickets belong to Matthew Clements, US Air Force and Lawrence Pascoe, US Air Force.  The Yale Veterans Clinic of McLaren/Port Huron Yale Community Health Center is located at 7470 Brockway Road, Yale, MI. 48097.  The Elks pledge “So long as there are Veterans, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will never forget them”.

A couple upcoming events planned for our local area Veterans:

• The St. Clair County Honor Guard & 40/8 picnic for all local Veterans to be held at the American Legion Post 382 in St. Clair on Saturday, August 26^th at 12-Noon.
• The 1^st annual Port Huron VFW Post 796 4-person golf scramble on Saturday, September 16^th held at the Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 Golf Course.
• The Elks National Veterans Service Commission in conjunction with the Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 Veterans Committee will be holding the 2^nd annual free Hot Dog Roast & Snacks on Friday, November 10th starting at 10:00 am at the VA – Veterans Clinic, Yale Community Health Center.
