The Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 SETS NEW BLOOD DRIVE DONATION RECORD, during 78^th blood drive, on Monday, September 15^th as we continue to help us close the gap on blood shortages! We had (57) donors arrive to provide the ”Gift of Life” as we surpassed our goal of (37). (5) donors were deferred, (44) whole blood pints, and (5 Power reds = 10 pints) were collected, for a total of (54) total units. We had THREE first time donors.

Working together, the Port Huron Elks Lodge 343, and the American Red Cross have collected over 2,693 units (pints) = 336 gallons of blood since our 1^st drive on January 7, 2013. We are well on our way to reaching our next goal of 3,000 pints (375 gallons). Our 79^th drive is scheduled for Monday, October 20^th.
