A former Spartans big man threw down a monster dunk in NBA Summer League action on Sunday.
Carson Cooper has looked impressive during the NBA Summer League, and that continued on Sunday. Cooper finished with 16 points in a Memphis Grizzlies’ defeat against the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Summer League championship game.
Among the points cored by Cooper was a monster dunk in transition. You can see that impressive play by Cooper in the embedded social media post below:
Cooper has thrown down his share of similar dunks during his time with the Spartans so it was fun to see him do the same thing at the next level. With NBA Summer League wrapped up, it’ll be interesting to see how things play out for Cooper going forward with the Grizzlies. He was impressive during the summer games he was in so I’d expect him to have at least a chance of making their NBA roster this upcoming fall.
