It’s time to vote for the Cheboygan Daily Tribune’s Athlete of the Week.
Each week, Cheboygan-area high school athletes will be eligible for the athlete of the week honor. Athlete of the week polls go live on Monday and voting closes at 10 p.m. Thursday.
Here’s this week’s candidates:
Presley Chamberlain, Cheboygan Softball – Went 4-for-4 with a double, an RBI and three runs scored against Hillman.
Wyatt Hanel, Inland Lakes Baseball – Finished 3-for-4 with an RBI against Harbor Light.
Ben Strittmatter, Mackinaw City Baseball – Combined to go 4-for-6 with two RBIs and three runs scored against Pellston.
Brooklyn Boughner, Onaway Softball – Went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs against East Jordan.
Lanie Irwin, Pellston Softball – Finished 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored, and struck out six against Mackinaw City.
Ariel Tucker, Burt Lake NMCA Softball – Had a 3-for-4 performance with a home run, a triple, four RBIs and three runs scored against Wolverine.
Emilee Williams, Wolverine Softball – Finished 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored against Burt Lake NMCA.
