In a mix of AI-generated photos and videos from conservative television networks, and reposts from unverified accounts, Trump shared unfounded claims that Obama had sought to improperly influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.
The posts were among dozens Trump shared to his Truth Social platform Monday night, May 11, into Tuesday morning, May 12.
Trump, who approval ratings are among the lowest of his tenure, has posted a variety of controversial AI-generated images and videos on his social media platforms in recent years, often tied to current events or public figures he opposes.
