Holland recently became home to two additional coffee shops, following the openings of Upsidedown Coffee in Washington Square and Stovetop Roasters on Central Avenue.
Here’s what you need to know before visiting:
Upsidedown Coffee
Upsidedown Coffee has completely transformed the former Pereddies at 447 Washington Ave. The business opened in mid-March and serves the community 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesdays-Sundays.
Josh and Bri Orton opened the brick-and-mortar space as an extension of their existing offerings — craft cold brew lattes and bartending services from mobile carts at weddings, events and corporate gatherings.
The couple is planning a launch party at Upsidedown Coffee in April, followed by a pop-up during Tulip Time, according to the business’ website.

Stovetop Roasters
Stovetop Roasters opened in 2015 in Holland before moving to Ann Arbor in 2016. In 2023, the company returned to Holland and opened a roastery (and café) at 180 E. 40th St. — which is open daily 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
The business’ newest space at 317 Central Ave. opened in March, and serves as the brand’s new flagship location. Stovetop Roasters serves drip coffee and an assortment of seasonal drinks, pastries and teas. The shop is open daily 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
