The country-gospel husband-and-wife duo has announced an Aug. 22 date in Homer, Michigan, just outside of the group’s adopted hometown of Albion.

The group is calling the show the HeartsTown Festival, and announced details on social media.

“For years, you’ve welcomed us into your lives. Into your homes, hearts and stories,” the group wrote in an Instagram post. “Now… It’s our turn to welcome you into ours.”

The show is billed as “one day. One Stage. One community.”

Registration for tickets opens Friday.

“Hearts Town” is the group’s 2020 album. The pair was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammys at the 2024 ceremony; the award ended up going to Victoria Monét.

In 2025, the War and Treaty returned to Albion to play the town’s Walk the Beat festival. A sudden downpour quickly washed the group offstage, but they wound up putting on an impromptu performance in the middle of the crowd.

The group’s latest album, “The Story of Michael and Tanya,” was released in June.

Homer is located about 10 miles southwest of Albion, off of M-60.

The War and Treaty is also due to play Bay Harbor’s Great Lakes Center for the Arts on July 31 and Saint Andrew’s Hall in Detroit on Nov. 12.
