Michigan State football is listed as a sizable underdog against their in-state rival for this year’s matchup in November.
South Point Las Vegas has released betting lines for numerous notable games this upcoming season, including the Spartans-Wolverines rivalry matchup in November. South Point sports book has Michigan State listed as a 17.5-point underdog in this year’s rivalry battle, which is the same as what DraftKings posted in early June.
Michigan State comes into this season with a goal of finishing above .500 for the first time in five seasons. Meanwhile, Michigan is considered a dark horse candidate to reach the College Football Playoff under new head coach Kyle Whittingham. So it’s not surprise to see the Wolverines listed as a monster favorite over the Spartans heading into the season.
Michigan State’s annual rivalry game against the Wolverines will be played on November 7 in Ann Arbor, Mich. The Spartans will look to upset the Wolverines and snap a four-game losing streak against their hated rivals.
