Seven more Monroe County high schools recently crowned homecoming royalty.
Homecoming season began Sept. 19 in Monroe County and continues through Oct. 17. Here, Bedford, Jefferson, Whiteford, Milan, Summerfield, Airport and Dundee high schools announce their homecoming kings and queens.

Bedford High School
Lucy Monahan was crowned 2025 homecoming queen at Bedford High School, while Ben St. Germain was crowned 2025 homecoming king.
Other queen candidates were: Emma Price, Kennedy Court, Payton Greuling and Chloe Wanner.
Other king candidates were: Cooper Starr, Simon Montrie, Ismael Hakki and Austin Ingall.
Class representatives were: juniors Jackson Harman and Claire Johnson, sophomores Kennedy Varner and Ben Wiens and freshmen Bentley Allred and Adelyn Williams.
The BHS football team played Dexter High School. “Fairy Tales” was the 2025 homecoming theme.
Jefferson High School
Chloe Sterling, 17, of Monroe is the 2025 homecoming queen at Jefferson High School. She’s the daughter of Alisha Piepsney and Jason Person.
Other queen candidates were: Ava Arnold, Shelby Dubke, Molly Hayford, Kayleigh Lieto, Adriaunna Moore and Morgan Simota.
Class attendants were: junior Jazmine Montalvo, sophomore Claire Miller and freshman Aubrey Hoffman.
“There’s No Place Like Home” was this year’s homecoming theme. JHS’ football team played Huron High School.
Whiteford High School
Briar Wing was crowned 2025 homecoming queen at Whiteford High School. Antonio Nachtrab was crowned 2025 homecoming king.
Other queen candidates were: Addeson Cousino and Bailey Spradling.
Other king candidates were: Caden Schroyer and Cole Griffith.
Court members were: juniors Ava Smith and Brek Ruddy, sophomores Harlow Jurgenson and Maddox Diesing and freshemen Kendra Lehberger and Beckett Emch.
Whiteford High School’s football team played Edon High School. This year’s homecoming theme was “Video Games.”
Milan High School
Kaily McDaniel is the 2025 homecoming queen at Milan High School. Keegan Bates is the 2025 homecoming king.
Kaily is the daughter of Keith and Nichol McDaniel. Keegan is the son of Derek and Christy Bates.
Other homecoming court members were: seniors Willard Soules, Alivia Held, Aubree Higgins, Sara Mitchell and Lana Pacholke; juniors Samir Jomaa and Natalie Bowden; sophmores Lukas Lusher and Evelyn Gill; and freshmen Wyatt Neuhart and Rosabella Woodruff.
The MHS football team played St. Mary Catholic Central High School. “GloCo” was this year’s homecoming theme.
Summerfield High School
Brea Olmstead was crowed 2025 homecoming queen at Summerfield High School. Allen Roof was crowned 2025 homecoming king.
Other queen candidates were: Abby Dove and Bethany Suydam. Other king candidates were: Brodie Craft and Nolan Scwichtenberg.
Class representatives were: juniors Gabi Myshock and Caleb Shepherd, sophomores Kalleigh Scott and River Riggs and freshmen Chloe Lilly and Isaac Butler.
SHS’ football team played Hilltop High School of West Unity, Ohio. “Famous Cities” was the 2025 homecoming theme.
Airport High School
Raegan Budzios was crowned 2025 homecoming queen at Airport High School. Ryan Burgor was crowned homecoming king.
Raegan is the daughter of Khrissy Gilkerson and Andy Budzios. Ryan is the son of Christopher and Marlene Burgor.
Other queen candidates were: Olivia Gratz, Jillian Baker, Frankie Rice and Emma Wehrs.
Other king candidates were: Dillon Byrd, William Dobbertin, Nolan Sanders and Drake Ferris.
Other homecoming court members were: Chloie Lemke, Ms. DAR; Jocelyn Kleman and Chase Cousino, Mr. and Ms. Airport; Chloe Lewis and Stevie Reed, freshmen representatives; Ella Baker and Everett Kessell, sophomore representatives; and Vanessa King and Carson Petros, junior representatives.
AHS’ football team played Grosse Ile. “Around the World” was this year’s homecoming theme.
Dundee High School
Maddie Salenbien was crowned 2025 homecoming queen at Dundee High School. Julius Jenkins was crowned homecoming king.
