This month we will showcase our fabulous stallions. Joe’s Silver Chance was born in 2012 and is a handsome buckskin sired by Cotton-Eyed Joe Y out of Montana’s Silver Mist who has sired many versatile progeny. Joe’s Major Gold was born in 2012 and is a palomino also sired by Cotton-Eyed Joe Y and is out of Quinn’s Foxy Star. Both stallions have offspring that are quickly bought up by Michigan riders who know quality when they raise one of these stallions’ babies. Both are owned by Chuck Fanslow of River Flat Ranch in Gladwin, Michigan. He can be reached at 989-435-9224 to set up a breeding date for either stallion.
Hollywood Missouri Stormchaser is also a handsome palomino stallion born in 2020 who was sired by Hollywood Playboy and is out of Legend’s Lasting Legacy. Hollywood Playboy has Southern Sunrise bloodlines. Stormchaser has sired good-minded and handsome babies as well. Breeders John and Kelly Sweet of Barton City, Michigan can be reached at 847-544-1557 to set up a breeding. Things are sure heating up now. The weather has improved plus people are hot on the trail looking for a new trail or show mount. Be sure to bring a knowledgeable friend along to check out your prospect. Who doesn’t want to fox trot down the trail and meet up with friends around a campfire or show off your horse’s dressage skills at a show? They excel at both. Be sure to transfer the registration paperwork through the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association after you purchase one or more of them. For people interested in training a couple of teenage mares, two registered Missouri Fox Trotter broodmares are available at Morning View Farm in Ionia, Michigan to join your breeding program or for saddle training in your chosen discipline. Both mares came from Cecil Huff of Ava, Missouri. They have completed basic groundwork training, stand well for the farrier and vet, load well, and are generally a pleasure to handle.
