Sign up for Pittsford's annual Memorial Day basketball tourney

PITTSFORD — One of Pittsford’s longest-running Memorial Day weekend events continues this year at the Pittsford High School gymnasium.

The Memorial Day weekend 3-on-3 basketball tournament has been played annually for more than 40 straight years. The 2026 tournament marks the 41st year of the event.

Sign up now to compete against alumni from the Pittsford area and the surrounding south-central region. The tournament features multiple levels of competition, including junior varsity boys and girls, varsity boys and girls, and men’s and women’s open divisions.

Entry is $50 per team. First-place teams in each division will receive commemorative T-shirts. Entries will be accepted up to 10 minutes before the start time.

Dates and times

The event will be held over two days. Saturday, May 23, will feature youth levels from fifth grade through junior high girls.

Competition begins at 10 a.m. with fifth and sixth-grade divisions, followed by seventh and eighth grade at 11 a.m., along with junior high girls.

On Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, games begin at 10 a.m. with junior varsity boys and girls tournaments, followed by varsity boys and girls. Men’s and women’s divisions begin at 1 p.m.

This tradition has continued for more than 40 years and regularly draws participating teams from beyond the Pittsford community.
