The Detroit Lions have handed out some new numbers, but maybe you should wait before getting a new jersey.
The Lions assigned numbers to the new players at the team’s rookie OTAs on May 9, including to their seven draft picks and 10 undrafted signees.
First-round pick Tyleik Williams leads the way with the No. 78. The defensive tackle from Ohio State wore the No. 91 in college. Second-round pick Tate Ratledge, who wore the No. 69 in college at Georgia, was assigned the same number at rookie OTAs.
It is worth noting that these numbers can change before the season starts.
