The Detroit Pistons have prompted a change of plans for pop star Demi Lovato and her local fanbase.
The team’s Wednesday playoff win over the Orlando Magic ensures there will now be a Game 5 on April 29 at Little Caesars Arena — the same night Lovato was scheduled to perform her first Detroit show in four years.
So her concert has been moved up a day: Lovato will now play LCA on April 28.
Existing tickets will be honored for the new date. Those who can’t make it should seek refunds from their point of purchase.
Lovato’s LCA visit has been on the books since October, when she announced a North American tour in support of her new dance-pop album “It’s Not That Deep.”
Her show is also one of more than 120 metro Detroit concerts offering $30 tickets via Live Nation’s just-announced “Summer of Live” promotion.
The Pistons, who topped the Magic 98-83 at LCA, will now head to Orlando on Saturday as their NBA Playoffs first-round matchup continues. The series is tied 1-1.
