Four individuals and a state championship team are part of the latest class set to get inducted into the Portland High School Athletic Hall of Fame this fall.
Ryan Snellenberger, Andy Pohl, Andy Pulling, Jon Snellenbeger and the 2012 state championship Portland football team will be inducted in a ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Portland Knights of Columbus Hall.
Ryan Snellenberger is a 2004 graduate who excelled in football and basketball. Pohl graduated in 2001 and is being honored for his wrestling and football careers. Pullin, a 2003 graduate, was a wrestling standout. Jon Snellenberger is being recognized for his 50 years of coaching.
The Portland football team in 2012 captured the Division 5 state title with a 12-9 win over Grand Rapids West Catholic.
