Plymouth Christian moves to No. 1 in Michigan boys high school soccer rankings for Week 3

There was significant movement in the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association boys soccer rankings for Week 3, Sept. 7.  

While Portage Central (Division 1), Hudsonville Unity Christian (D2) and Detroit Country Day all maintained their No. 1 spots, Plymouth Christian Academy, which was ranked No. 4 last week, jumped three spots up to No. 1 in Division 4 this week.

Ranked No. 6 a week ago, Ann Arbor Huron moved up four spots to No. 2 in Division 1, while Holland West Ottawa moved from No. 15 to No. 6. Clarkston (No. 3), Okemos (No. 4) and Hartland (No. 5) rounded out the top five.  

In D2, St. Joseph moved four spots from No. 14 to No. 10. Grand Rapids Forest Hills Central, Warren De La Salle Collegiate and New Boston Huron were all in the top five.

Pontiac Notre Dame Prep (No. 2), Flint Powers Catholic (No. 3), Frankenmuth (No. 4) and Elk Rapids (No. 5) made up the top five in D3.

Previously ranked No. 1 in D4, Lansing Christian dropped two spots to No. 3, while Leland dropped seven spots from No. 8 to No. 15. Harbor Springs moved up four spots from No. 13 to No. 9.
