The Detroit Pistons will meet divisional rival Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round of the 2026 NBA playoffs.
The squads split the four regular-season meetings, with each winning once at home and once on the road
Both teams won Game 7s on Sunday to advance to the Eastern Conference semifinals.
The 1-seed Pistons won theirs against the Orlando Magic, 116-94, at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, led by Cade Cunningham (32 points, 12 assists) and Tobias Harris (30 points, nine rebounds).

The 4-seed Cavaliers advanced past the 5-seed Toronto Raptors, 114-102, by breaking a halftime tie with a big third quarter (38-19) at home. Jarrett Allen (22 points and 19 rebounds, with eight on offense) and Donovan Mitchell (22 points) led the way for Cleveland.
The Pistons and Cavs will cram as many as seven games into 13 days, with only one off day between each game.
On the other side of the bracket, the 3-seed New York Knicks will play the 7-seed Philadelphia 76ers, with Game 1 on Monday night in New York.
