Sophia Nicholls has been named as Pellston High School’s 2026 valedictorian, with Allie Anita Cameron earning salutatorian.
Nicholls, the daughter of Brad and Laura Nicholls, will graduate with a 4.025 GPA. While in high school, she was active in softball, volleyball, basketball and band. Nicholls was also involved in the Petoskey-Harbor Springs Area Community Foundation Youth Advisory Committee and the National Honor Society. After graduation, she plans to attend North Central Michigan College to obtain an associate’s degree in business.
Cameron, the daughter of Darrin and Christy Cameron, will graduate with a 4.017 GPA. While in school, she was active in volleyball, basketball, softball and skiing. She also served on student council, class council and was a member of the National Honor Society. After graduation, Cameron plans to attend Michigan State University to pursue a career as a child life specialist.
Pellston High School will celebrate the Class of 2026 during commencement at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 5. A senior parade will take place at 5 p.m.
