Michigan State football adding Kent State GA as Player Personnel Analyst

Michigan State football continues to fill out their staff heading into the 2025 season. On Friday, Corey Robinson of 247Sports reported that the Spartans are adding Frank Herzog as their new Player Personnel Analyst.

Herzog has been quickly rising through the ranks in college football’s recruiting world. He started his career with Bowling Green in 2020 as a Player Personnel Analyst and Recruiting Assistant while he was still an undergraduate student. Then, he moved to Wake Forest, where he was a Football Player Personnel and Recruiting Intern from January 2023 to April 2024. His last stop before MSU was at Kent State, where he worked as a graduate assistant since last August.

This is the second hire Michigan State has made in its recruiting department this week, adding Michael Morales, a former Texas staffer, on Sunday. The moves fill a void left by the departure of Austin D’Armond back in June.
