Michigan State basketball is in the market for a transfer portal center, and are trying to hone on who their guy may be to overtake the starting center position in 2026-27. After narrowing their list down to a few guys, there has been a new name that has entered the equation.
The Spartans have just completed a visit with Christian Reeves, a 7-foot-2, 255 pound center transfer from Charleston. A Charlotte (NC) native, the center prepped at Oak Hill Academy before signing with Duke in the 2022 recruiting class. After spending two years with the Blue Devils, he spent one year with Clemson before heading to Charleston this past year.
With Charleston, Reeves averaged 11.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game this past season, which included a stretch over the last 14 games of the year in which he averaged 15.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.
Following his MSU visit, Reeves headed to Kansas for a visit. Other schools that may be in on the big man are not yet known.
