Week 1 of the Michigan Girls High School Flag Football League is in the books.

It Takes More League
Redford Union 44, Romulus 0
Ameerah Saba was 4 of 5 passing for 46 yards, three TDs and a two-point conversion for the Panthers (2-0). Cameron Cherry caught two TD passes and a two-point conversion and also rushed for a 13-yard score. Kayleigh Goodman rushed for a 46-yard score, Jacobi Cohen scored on a 9-yard run and Aaliyah Benson rushed five times for a team-best 92 yards.
Raven Ghee returned an interception 30 yards for a TD, while Amia Rembert, Calia Tavolette and Qadri Ali also nabbed interceptions.
Redford Union 28, Allen Park 0
Cameron Cherry threw for 58 yards and two TDs, rushed for 67 yards and a score and had a receiving TD for the Panthers (2-0). Jacobi Cohen had 42 yards receiving and a score.
All Us League
North Farmington 20, Birmingham Groves 6
Leah Siskosky scored twice for the Raiders (1-0), including taking a reverse 33 yards for a TD. Jade Spears also scored.
Gabby Frazier rushed for a 60-yard TD for the Falcons (0-1).
Auburn Hills Oakland Christian 33, Bloomfield Hills Marian 14
Juliette Siniora threw a 46-yard TD pass to Maria Odeesh for the Mustangs (0-1). Ruby Jansen returned an interception 17 yards for a TD, while Madeline Kizy intercepted a two-point conversion.
