LOCKE TWP. — An Alaska man was killed in a crash on M-52 in northeast Ingham County on Tuesday, July 1, police said.
The Ingham County Sheriff’s Office identified the man who died as Brandon Teal, 28, of Anchorage, Alaska.
Teal was making a left turn from northbound M-52 onto East Haslett Road when he collided with a southound vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Breckenridge resident, sheriff’s officials said in a news release. The Breckenridge driver and a 41-year-old passenger from Owosso were not injured.
The crash happened about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. It was being investigated by the Ingham Regional Crash Investigation Team.

The Northeast Ingham Emergency Services Authority helped at the scene, along with Meridian Township police, Williamston police, Michigan State Police, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and the Michigan Department of Transportation.
