Lions inactive players vs. Eagles: All questionable players are active

Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions had some choices to make in declaring players inactive for the Week 11 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night. A litany of injuries that kept changing throughout the weekend made this one a tougher week than usual to sort out which players on the active roster would not be allowed to play.

Two players still on the active roster were ruled out on Friday’s final injury report. Both are starters in the secondary: CB Terrion Arnold and S Kerby Joseph. It’s the fourth straight game Joseph will miss with his ongoing knee injury.

Two others who were ruled out are no longer on the active roster. In Pat O’Connor’s case, he’s not even on the roster in any capacity; the Lions released the veteran DL from injured reserve with a settlement on Saturday. Starting tight end Sam LaPorta was also placed on I.R., and he will miss at least four weeks.

Several Lions were listed as questionable with injuries. That list includes starting LT Taylor Decker, starting RT Penei Sewell, RB CB Amik Robertson–who replaces Arnold as a starter, RB Sione Vaki, RB Jacob Saylors and now-starting TE Brock Wright. Rookie wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa was added to the injury list as questionable on Saturday as well.

The Lions elevated WR Tom Kennedy and WR Jackson Meeks from the practice squad, though Meeks has been working on transitioning into a hybrid WR/TE.
