Kerby Joseph injury update: Lions star safety questionable after hurting knee vs Browns

Kerby Joseph was injured during the Detroit Lions-Cleveland Browns Ravens game on Sunday, Sept. 28, in Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season.

Joseph appeared to hurt his knee during the second quarter while blocking for D.J. Reed on an interception return with just under five minutes to go in the half. At the time, the Lions were leading 10-7 over the Browns and the interception helped set up another score.

Shortly after, the Lions announced that Joseph is questionable to return with a knee injury. He did not come back in the game on the Browns’ next drive.

Joseph is one of the Lions’ best players on either side of the ball and had the game’s first interception when he camped under a terribly thrown Joe Flacco pass for his second interception of the year.
