Country music artist Luke Bryan still plans to visit Livingston County in September, but not where organizers originally thought.
Bryan was supposed to return to Kubiak Family Farms at 10661 W. Sherwood Road in Conway Township on Sept. 20, but according to reporting from WHMI, organizers ran into municipal roadblocks

Concert organizers are now working with a farmer and officials in Howell Township to relocate the concert eight miles away. Freeman told WHMI the original farm didn’t have strong cell service, which can be a safety issue. The farm in Howell Township has better coverage, and the team is working to obtain a temporary tower.
The Howell Township Planning Commission is holding a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 12 at Howell Township Hall to discuss the permit.
It would be the third time in five years Bryan has performed in Livingston County as part of his Farm Tour. Bryan is a five-time Entertainer of the Year, according to the Academy of Country Music Awards and Country Music Association Awards.
Some of Bryan’s hit songs include “Country Girl (Shake It for Me),” “That’s My Kind of Night” and “Drunk on You.”
