Disney is celebrating two decades of Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana” with a brand-new anniversary special, premiering on Disney+ and Hulu.
The unscripted “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special“ will feature a live studio audience and a sit-down conversation with series star Miley Cyrus, revisiting the show that launched her career and became a defining franchise for a generation of viewers.
When does the ‘Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special’ premiere?
The special begins streaming Tuesday, March 24, and will be available on Disney+ and Hulu starting around 12 a.m. PT / 3 a.m. ET. It will stream exclusively on the platform, with no television airing announced.

Although Disney+ and Hulu don’t offer free trials, viewers can bundle their subscriptions to reduce the monthly cost. What to expect from the ‘Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special’
Rather than a scripted reboot, the anniversary special is structured as a retrospective “love letter to fans.” It’ll feature Miley Cyrus sitting down for an in-depth conversation hosted by “Call Her Daddy’s” Alex Cooper. Viewers can also expect behind‑the‑scenes footage from Cyrus’s personal archives, appearances from familiar and surprise guests and a special musical performance recorded exclusively for the event.
