The Grand Valley State football team is a perennial power in the GLIAC and all of NCAA Division II.
But last year, the Lakers missed the playoffs for the first time since 2019, finishing 7-3.
This year, the Lakers are ranked No. 6 in the preseason Lindy’s poll and will look for a return to the playoffs under fourth-year coach Scott Wooster.
“We are excited that the roster at the end of the spring will be the roster when we open practice in August,” said Wooster. “We were able to build a lot of team continuity and showcased our development during the spring practice period after making several changes within our organization following the 2025 season. We are aligned as a group on both sides of the ball and believe in the process that has been established since January.”
Here is a look at GVSU’s schedule. Games are Saturdays unless indicated. Home games are at Lubbers Stadium.
