General Motors Co.’s chief growth officer is leaving to “pursue a new endeavor” after about three years in marketing at the Detroit automaker.
Norm de Greve announced his planned June departure in a Tuesday post on LinkedIn.
“After an incredible run at GM, I will be moving on in June to pursue a new endeavor,” de Greve wrote. “More on that when the time is right.”
GM in November promoted de Greve to a senior vice presidency position from his previous job as global chief marketing officer. Before he joined GM, De Greve served as CVS Health’s chief marketing officer from 2015 to 2023.
A spokesperson in a statement said the company thanks de Greve “for his significant contributions to General Motors over the last three years.”
In his Linkedin post, de Greve wrote that he “led the largest and fastest marketing transformation in the company’s history” during his time at GM.
“I grew share and strengthened every brand while saving $1 billion, and I architected GM’s AI marketing platform,” he wrote. “And we architected a leading AI marketing platform that GM is now bringing to life. I may have been the catalyst, but the results are a reflection of the strength and dedication of the team.”
