Former Michigan State star Miles Bridges traded to the Phoenix Suns

For the first time in his professional basketball career, Miles Bridges will be wearing a new jersey next season. On Sunday, the former Michigan State star and controversial forward for the Charlotte Hornets was traded along with a 2029 first-round pick to the Phoenix Suns for Grayson Allen, Royce O’Neale, and a 2033 first-round pick.

Bridges played the first seven seasons of his career in Charlotte after they selected him twelfth in the 2018 NBA Draft after he was a Consensus All-American for the Spartans the previous season. Bridges infamously sat out the 2022-23 season after pleading no contest to felony domestic violence charges.
