Two Florida men have been charged in connection with an alleged road rage incident last week in Bloomfield Township.
Larry White, 28, and Allen Udell, 19, were arraigned Friday in the 48th District Court on the charge of carrying a concealed weapon. Udell was also charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, according to court records.
The defendants are represented in district court by attorney Eric Pernie, according to records. He couldn’t immediately be reached for comment Tuesday.
White and Udell are scheduled to return to court June 9 and June 16 for further proceedings, according to a Bloomfield Township police news release.
Around 2 p.m. Thursday, township police responded to the area of Square Lake Road and Yorkshire Lane, where a woman reported a Cadillac Escalade had swerved into her lane and nearly caused several collisions. The vehicle continued to follow her after she tried to distance herself, according to the news release.
When both vehicles came to a stop on the roadway, Udell allegedly lowered the window while wearing a ski mask and pointed a pistol at the woman, police reported.
Officers found the vehicle and took White, the driver, and Udell into custody.
The incident preceded a man allegedly shooting at a family in a road rage incident Saturday evening in Milan Township.
