“People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggs run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products,” the release read.

The product was distributed in three store locations in Ann Arbor and Brighton, including 126 E. Grand River Ave. No illnesses have been reported to-date in connection with the issue, according to the release.

Customers who have purchased the sandwiches are urged to return them for a full refund. Those with questions can reach Blank Slate Creamery at 1-734-580-2437.
