Bills vs Texans Thursday Night Football channel, streaming and odds on Prime Video

The NFL’s Week 12 Thursday Night Football matchup features a pair of teams fighting for AFC playoff positioning.

The Buffalo Bills (7-3, 2nd in AFC East) will be travelling south to take on the Houston Texans (5-5, 3rd in AFC South) on Thursday, Nov. 20, at NRG Stadium in Houston. The game will kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET and will not be televised on a traditional channel, but instead will broadcast exclusively on Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service.

Both teams are streaking, with the Texans playing themselves in the AFC playoff picture (currently at No. 8 in the conference, one spot out from a playoff spot) following a two-game win streak. The Bills, meanwhile, shook off an upset loss on the road to the Miami Dolphins in Week 10 to beat the first-place Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home in Week 11.

Though Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud returned to practice for the first time after suffering a concussion in a Week 9 game against the Denver Broncos, he’s not expected to play against the Bills. Backup quarterback Davis Mills has proven to be a winning option, however, as he’s thrown for three touchdowns in his last two games, both ending in Houston wins.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen, meanwhile, is looking to repeat as the league MVP, having led his team to wins in three out of their last four games. The Bills still trail the New England Patriots by 1½ games in the division, however, as the Patriots look to snap the Bills’ five-year division title streak.

If the season were to end today, the Bills would be the No. 5 seed, behind the Broncos, Patriots, Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers.
