Big Lake Brewing has released two new summer menus — one for humans, and one for their best friend.
“The inspiration for the ‘Dog Menu’ was to create something unique that drew people in,” wrote marketing and retail manager Bailey Villanueva in a release. “We figured people would want to stay longer if there was an offering for their dog to keep them entertained and fed.”
The specialized menu includes a burger patty and rice, smoked chicken and rice, a pup cup with whipped cream, dog beer (a can of chicken broth) and a standard milkbone. The listed prices range from seven “bones” for the burger or smoked chicken to three “bones” for the pup cup.
“It’s a small list of offerings but we feel it provides the perfect amount of options for those looking to spoil their dog while enjoying a beer under the sun,” Villanueva wrote.
Big Lake Brewing at 13 W. Seventh St. introduced the dog-friendly patio in mid-2025, according to Villanueva. The patio seating is first-come, first-serve with traditional tables, firepits and high-top standing tables in the grass.
The new summer menu (for humans) is also creating considerable buzz with expanded pizza options, including three different sizes and a number of new specialty pies.
