ALLEGAN — A three-time Grammy Award winner is the latest act announced for the 2025 Allegan County Fair.
The fair announced Friday, May 23, that Ne-Yo will perform Friday, Sept. 12.
Known for hit singles like “So Sick,” “Miss Independent,” and “Closer,” Ne-Yo is an accomplished singer, songwriter, actor and philanthropist. He’s won three Grammy’s, including Best Contemporary R&B Album for his second studio album “Because of You” and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song for “Miss Independent.”
He’s also written songs for other artists, including Rihanna, Beyoncé, Mario and Usher. As an actor, Ne-Yo’s credits include roles in the movies “Stomp The Yard,” “Battle: Los Angeles,” and “The Wiz Live!” along with appearances on numerous television shows.
Tickets for Ne-Yo’s performance go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 30.
Ne-Yo’s concert is the fourth major entertainment event announced for this year’s fair.
Comedians Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias and Jeff Dunham will take the stage on the fair’s opening night, Sept. 5. Country music artist Cole Swindell will perform with special guest Conner Smith on Sept. 6. Swindell’s fifth studio album, “Spanish Moss,” is set to release this summer.
Gabby Barrett will perform at the fair Sept. 11. Barrett, a country singer, was the third-place finisher in Season 16 of American Idol in 2018. She will be joined by Myron Elkins.
Tickets for the Sept. 5, 6 and 11 shows are on sale now via allegancountyfair.com. All tickets purchased on or before Aug. 15 will include admission to the fair for the day of the show. Parking is not included.
The 2025 Allegan County Fair will run Sept. 5-13.
