What’s the history of the News-Review?
The Petoskey newspaper started in 1878 as the Petoskey City Record, and it later became known as the Petoskey Evening News. In 1953, the Northern Michigan Review and the Evening News merged to become the Petoskey News-Review. The paper was sold to GateHouse Media in 2019, which later merged with Gannett.
