The Charlevoix Summer Art Show is set to return June 27 and 28.
The show opens at 10 a.m. on both days with a huge selection of fine art and fine craft artists on display. Take in a walk along Round Lake in downtown Charlevoix or find a unique piece of art to take home.

Experience the Saline Fiddlers Philharmonic
The Cheboygan Opera House will host the Saline Fiddlers Philharmonic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 26.
Described as “America’s premier youth fiddling show band from Saline, Michigan,” the group will perform music from American folk, fiddle, bluegrass, jazz, western swing and Celtic traditions.
Tickets are $10-$20, including fees.

Take your pick in Sault
It’s a busy weekend in Sault Ste. Marie.
Engineers Day activities include everything from the Family Fun Fair at city hall to the Book Fest at Island Books & Crafts to a 5K along Ashmun Bay to community booths in Soo Locks Park.
The second annual Art in the Park is also taking place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 26.
Don’t forget about the International Bridge Walk, starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 27. Be sure to review all of the rules and regulations before making the trek!

Enjoy Art in the Garden in Gaylord
The Otsego Conservation District is hosting the 14th annual Art in the Garden Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 27.
The festival, located in the the Otsego County Demonstration Garden at 459 Livingston Blvd., is described as “a celebration of nature through art and education.” Guests can walk in the garden and meet with local artists, environmental conservation groups, take part in hands-on workshops, enjoy live music and more. The event is free and family-friendly.

Spend ‘An Evening with Ann Patchett’
Pulitzer Prize finalist and bestselling author Ann Patchett will be at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts on Saturday, June 27 for a discussion of her newest novel, “Whistler.”
Although tickets for this event are currently sold out, you can still join a waitlist. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the event begins at 7 p.m. McLean & Eakin Booksellers will be in the lobby selling books before and after the event.
