Port Huron, MI – Lake Huron Medical Center (LHMC) is pleased to announce its second quarter winner for Employee of the Month 2025, Nicole Plutschuck. LHMC is honored to have a strong team of staff and volunteers working hard to deliver high-quality care to the Blue Water Area and beyond.
Nicole works as a Performance Improvement Coordinator and has been a valued employee at LHMC for over 13 years. Nicole was nominated by a fellow co-worker who said, “I asked Nicole for her help to update the Regulatory Education Materials for our credentialed providers which is a requirement of Joint Commission. I’m ashamed of what I currently provide as it is disorganized and most likely not accurate since my clinical knowledge is limited. Nicole took the ball and ran with it!! She used her background and knowledge in her current position in Performance Improvement and consulted the appropriate directors to obtain their current department requirements. She created a professional, concise, educational tool for physicians and advanced practice professionals with information that our providers need to know to provide quality care to our patients. She invested hours and hours into this project, and I will be happy and proud to distribute these new materials! I am so thankful and appreciative since this is a project I have wanted to tackle for years.”
