Our very own Port Huron Lodge 343 member and US Army Veteran Larry Eagen were one of the two names drawn for the monthly $25.00 free gas gift card for February. Larry along with Port Huron resident John Cooper, US Army, congratulations! On another note, Lodge 343 members MiElks State President Michael Bartolotta, Scott R. Harris, DDGER & Gary A. Osburn ENVSC Deputy Rep along with Lodge 325 member Cynthia Ross ENVSC State Coordinator and members of Royal Oak-Detroit Lodge 343 attended the Benjamin O. David Veterans Village Apartments for Homeless Veterans Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, February 25th at Conner Creek Health Campus. This new (50) unit Apartment complex will be home to Veterans in need. Detroit Mayor Mary Sheffield and many other area dignitaries attended the ceremony.
An early reminder: Please mark your calendars for our 4th Annual Veterans Appreciation Day & free Luncheon to be held at Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 for Veterans & Spouses is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm. This event is hosted by the Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 Veterans Committee and the Elks National Veterans Service Commission.
Recent Events: Lodge 343 and ENVSC hosted our bi-monthly free “Coffee & Donut Day” in the Veterans Wellness room on Wednesday, April 8th, with over 50 Veterans attending. Our next event held on Wednesday, June 10th. These events are sponsored by Port Huron Elks Lodge 343, the Michigan Elks Association, ENVSC, and McLaren-Port Huron Yale VA. This is our way to say thank you, to our Veterans, active Military and first responders for their service. Please feel free to stop in, even without a scheduled appointment, we would enjoy your company.
