The Tigers have a long, rich history of hosting some of the greatest players to ever play the game of baseball.
Over their storied history, the Tigers have introduced fans to the likes of Ty Cobb, “Hammerin’ Hank” Greenberg and Alan Trammell. You can still hear the roar of the crowd as they emerged from the dugout.
Established in 1894, the Tigers debuted in Major League Baseball in 1901 and hold the distinction of being the American League’s oldest continuous one-name, one-city franchise.

Over the years, they’ve captured four World Series championships (1935, 1945, 1968, and 1984) and claimed 11 American League pennants with legends like Al Kaline, Miguel Cabrera and Charlie Gehringer.
