Recipe of The Day – Melted Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce butter
  • 1/2 ounce flour
  • 3/4 water

Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan, stir in the flour gradually, then add the water, stirring all the time ; let it boil well and thicken.
  2. Anchovy sauce or chopped parsley can be added to taste.
